Aster & Rose at the Youngtown Inn offers a unique taste of Maine nestled away from the coast in Lincolnville, ME. If you're like me, you usually drive through Lincolnville Beach on Route 1 without giving much thought to anything inland. If that's true for you, you're missing out on a real gem of a restaurant! The first floor of the inn, where Aster & Rose is located, is well-kept and surprisingly modern for a restaurant in Maine. The food is excellent - I especially enjoyed the Octopus appetizer and the Maine Blueberry Cake for dessert. The pairing of the lemon curd and the blueberries and cake is a delicious one😋. Additionally, the wait staff is friendly and makes you want to support this small business. If you're driving on Route 1 in midcoast Maine, make a stop here. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
